Urban Mission At 2012 CBLI

The Urban Mission Workshop returns to CBLI this summer, July 27 – August 5, 2012.

We are very pleased to announce that Majors Bill and Sue Dunigan will be our guest presenters.  The Dunigans serve as Salvation Army officers at the new Kroc Center currently being built in Camden NJ.

Major Bill Dunigan was born in Detroit, but grew up in Northern Ohio in a rural suburb of Akron. While he was a Bill Duniganfreshman in HS, Bill became a Christian through the ministry of Youth for Christ, a self-described 70’s Jesus freak, and yes, he had a ponytail. Bill received a BA in Psychology and M.A. in Religion with a concentration in Evangelism and Christian Education from Asbury College and Seminary. Married to Sue with three grown children, Bill enjoys all kinds of music, plays guitar and leads worship. He is an artist who dabbles in pottery and other types of artwork. He passionately loves backpacking and recently completed 125 miles of the Appalachian Trail. Occasionally he hits the open road on his motorcycle and is often caught singing “Born to be Wild”. Major Bill is an Associate Kroc center Officer for Neighborhood Ministries.

Major Sue Dunigan is Jersey girl, born in Passaic and spent many of her summers tanning at “the shore.” The oldest Sue Duniganof three siblings, Sue’s parents were also Salvation Army Officers. Sue graduated from Asbury College with a BA in Social Work. When not studying, Sue was known to hang out with a boy named Bill and as they say, they lived happily ever after. Sue and Bill have been pastors in The Salvation Army for over 25 years and for 15 of those years started and ran an incarnational ministry in Boston called the Jubilee House. Sue is especially proud of her three grown children, and she enjoys teaching and public speaking, singing and drama (as in the theatre, not the queen). In her spare time Sue loves entertaining guests, cooking, and she walks and swims, kayaks, and trails after her two golden retrievers. Major Sue is an Associate Kroc center Officer for Neighborhood Ministries.

The Dunigans also direct the Servant House located in Camden.

Come to Central Bible and Leadership Institute this summer to be part of the Urban Mission Intensive.
