There are neighborhoods across the west and south sides of Chicago where a person can barely find a shop to buy fresh fruit and vegetables.  It’s been this way for decades. 

Erica Johnson sent this story about Steven Casey and others trying to change Chicago’s food situation.  They’ve formed Food Desert Action and plan to use a renovated CTA bus for Fresh Moves, a mobile produce stand.
